This Privacy Policy explains how BWEU Sp. z.o.o. ("BzzJob", "we", "us") processes personal data in connection with the BzzJob job platform available at www.bzzjob.com.

Who this policy covers
This policy covers specialists, candidates, employer users, company representatives, public website visitors, support contacts, and other people who interact with BzzJob.
Data we process
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, role, language, login and security logs.
- Specialist profile and CV data: professional profile fields, work history, skills, languages, salary expectations, location, work preferences, uploaded CV files, visibility settings, and application history.
- Employer data: company profile, company representatives, job postings, billing contact details, payment and invoice records where applicable.
- Application and invitation data: CV/profile data shared with employers, cover notes, attachments, statuses, messages, and workflow events.
- Moderation and safety data: reports, review notes, fraud signals, IP address, device/browser data, decision logs, and abuse-prevention records.
- Communication data: support requests, transactional emails, notification preferences, consent records, and delivery events.
- Analytics and cookie data, where the user has given consent where required.
Purposes and legal bases
- Providing accounts, profiles, CVs, vacancies, applications, invitations, payments, and support: performance of a contract.
- Securing the service, preventing fraud and abuse, moderating content, and improving reliability: legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
- Accounting, tax, compliance, and responding to lawful requests: legal obligations.
- Marketing emails and non-essential analytics or advertising cookies: consent.
CV visibility and employer access
Specialists control whether their profile or CV is visible in the product, subject to the options available in the account. When a specialist applies to a job or accepts an invitation, relevant profile, CV, and application information may be shared with the employer for recruitment purposes.
Sensitive data
Users should not add sensitive personal data, identity documents, health data, political opinions, religious beliefs, union membership, biometric identifiers, or similar special-category data to public profile fields, CV text, job postings, or support messages unless BzzJob explicitly requests it for a clear and lawful purpose.
Recipients and vendors
We may share personal data with employers using the platform, hosting providers, email providers, payment providers, analytics providers, security providers, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. The service is intended to use Hetzner for hosting and Cloudflare for security and network protection. Google Analytics may be used only according to applicable consent rules.
International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful safeguard.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, recruitment workflows, dispute handling, security, accounting, tax, and legal requirements. Account, CV, and application data may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed, unless retention is required for legal, security, or dispute reasons.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority. To submit a request, use the data request form on the BzzJob website or contact support@bzzjob.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Automated decisions and AI
BzzJob should not use fully automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users unless this is clearly disclosed and legally supported. If AI matching, ranking, scoring, CV sorting, or similar recruitment automation is introduced, this policy and the product notices must be updated before use.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, vendors, processing purposes, or legal requirements change.
